Mars was a big strong handsome dog.  He was very fast and agile. His passion in life was working livestock. We watched Mars clear our five foot gates on his way out to work sheep!!  Away from stock Mars had the most affectionate temperament. Steve and I felt very lucky to have this wonderful dog a part of our farm and future genetics.  A huge thank you to Janet Beale in Scotland for sending us this wonderful dog to live out his retirement years at Rising Sun Farm.



Mars was a very focused, driven and agile dog. He had a ton of push on live stock... there is no QUIT in this dog.  Mars had outstanding structure.... and a wonderful "off" switch when he was away from stock.  He had a very affectionate out going friendly temperament. Mars was truly a once in a life time type dog! This fatastic dog as progeny in all four corners of the "Earth".... He will be dearly missed and his wonderful progeny will carry on his "Great" name.

Imported Spot is a handsome red rough coated son out of Johnny Wilson's Two Time International Supreme Champion Spot. He stamped his pups with his out going, friendly and affectionate personality. Spot was an intense dog that loved to work all types of livestock. We sadly lost Spot in the summer of 2006. He legacy will live on through his progeny.

Ross is out of our dual champion Magic Mowtion and two-time International Supreme Champion ##Wisp. Ross is living at the Minnesota Apple Valley Zoo. He watches over the entire "farm" section. He checks in with his ducks, sheep, goats, calves, chickens etc on a daily basis. Ross also puts on herding demonstrations to applauding crowds. Thanks to the staff at the zoo for their handling and care of Ross.

 Spooky was our first Border Collie and taught us a lot. He was such a good boy... never caused any trouble or problems. He was always a "favorite"... and loved dearly. Spook will be forever in our hearts. He was a"good" working dog and he did well on the trial field, winning high in trial at several competitions. He was always our chore dog whenever we needed a dog to hold stock. Spook had a charming personality...and loved everyone he met. Anyone that visited our farm wanted to take Spook home with them. He would also play ball for hours on end!

Terry Parrish's "Rhys" is a very talented black, white and tan dog. Rhys is out of Imported Taff and Imported Val. Rhys goes back to Bwlch Taff and Supreme Champion Craig lines. Rhys was one of Terry's top trial dogs. A truly talented dog that past on his ability to his offspring.
