The St. Croix is ideally suited for your needs. If you have thought of introducing this attractive hair sheep to your breeding program here is an excellent opportunity to do so. We have offspring of ewes that are proven producers and are performance tested. Two hundred percent lamb crop on all ewes bred for the second time and some triplets.
The St. Croix ewes are good mothers and can be bred twice a year with no problem.They are disease resistant and adapt to any climate.The St. Croix is excellent for the hobby farm or as a 4-H project. There is no need to shear. Each spring the St. Croix will shed it's winter coat of thick hair. A small flock can help keep your pasture or out areas clean and groomed.
The purchase price for registered St. Croix Ewes is $250 with papers. Rams sell for $250 with papers. The purchase price "without" papers is $200 for Ewes, and $200 for Rams.
